Meggitt wins third consecutive Gulfstream award

Meggitt Aircraft Braking Systems has won its third consecutive ‘Supplier of the Year’ award from Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation, reflecting the exemplary work undertaken by the business to deliver consistently high quality products on time throughout 2008.

Businesses must achieve ‘green’ ratings each quarter to qualify. In a letter of congratulation to the team based in Coventry, UK, Vice President, Materials, Bill Williams said: “This is an outstanding accomplishment that speaks to the commitment of Meggitt Aircraft Braking Systems’ leadership and the dedication of its entire team to provide excellent service to Gulfstream.”

Ken Schwartz, Meggitt Aircraft Braking Systems’ President said: “Meggitt takes pride in winning this award and being recognized as a “best in class” supplier from Gulfstream. Our Coventry site was the subject of a complex integration in 2007 when it merged with Aircraft Braking Systems Corporation. These awards demonstrate that the Coventry team never lost their focus and continued to deliver very high standards of customer service. Along with Bill Williams of Gulfstream, I congratulate the MABS team for this accomplishment.”
